Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.70%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 1.35% or 0.70 points to trade at 51.00 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.99% or 3.30 points to end at 335.30 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was up 0.50% or 0.14 points to 28.17 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 2.71% or 2.80 points to trade at 99.70 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 2.59% or 5.20 points to end at 194.00 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) shed 2.11% or 0.13 points to 6.08.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 512 to 256 and 75 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.88% or 1.29 to $69.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.55% or 1.13 to hit $74.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 5.95 to trade at $2,735.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.05% to 11.43, while USD/SEK rose 0.46% to 10.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 103.75.
