Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 11.80% or 0.42 points to trade at 3.95 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) added 0.90% or 1.10 points to end at 123.10 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) was up 0.34% or 0.80 points to 234.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Evolution AB (ST:EVOG), which lost 3.37% or 32.60 points to trade at 933.60 in late trade. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 3.15% or 1.50 points to end at 44.50 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) shed 2.40% or 3.90 points to 156.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 460 to 310 and 77 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.06% or 0.04 to $70.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $73.48 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.72% or 47.39 to trade at $2,709.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.10% to 11.53, while USD/SEK fell 0.09% to 10.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 106.25.
