Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 1.51% or 1.75 points to trade at 117.70 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 1.41% or 0.47 points to end at 33.85 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was up 1.28% or 0.98 points to 77.28 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which lost 4.74% or 9.70 points to trade at 193.80 in late trade. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) declined 4.05% or 4.00 points to end at 95.30 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) shed 2.39% or 3.50 points to 143.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 437 to 309 and 93 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.14% or 0.10 to $71.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.43% or 0.32 to hit $74.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.25% or 32.65 to trade at $2,647.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.30% to 11.37, while USD/SEK rose 0.29% to 10.18.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 100.41.
