Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 1.63% or 1.50 points to trade at 95.90 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) added 0.67% or 0.85 points to end at 127.80 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 0.67% or 0.66 points to 99.32 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 4.43% or 0.26 points to trade at 5.50 in late trade. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 4.34% or 54.60 points to end at 1,202.60 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) shed 4.19% or 4.30 points to 97.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 486 to 279 and 82 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.37% or 0.29 to $78.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.48% or 0.39 to hit $82.02 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.65 to trade at $2,328.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.00% to 11.28, while USD/SEK rose 0.25% to 10.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 104.95.
