Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.48% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Evolution Gaming Group AB (ST:EVOG), which rose 1.50% or 16.00 points to trade at 1,084.00 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 0.82% or 0.22 points to end at 27.05 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 0.62% or 1.70 points to 276.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which lost 6.04% or 5.70 points to trade at 88.70 in late trade. Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) declined 5.57% or 1.30 points to end at 22.06 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) shed 4.23% or 4.00 points to 90.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 476 to 279 and 77 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.02% or 0.02 to $80.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.02% or 0.02 to hit $85.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.65 to trade at $2,345.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.01% to 11.20, while USD/SEK fell 0.12% to 10.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 104.82.
