Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 1.71% or 0.12 points to trade at 7.08 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 1.22% or 1.20 points to end at 97.70 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.47% or 1.40 points to 298.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 1.65% or 0.80 points to trade at 48.80 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) declined 1.19% or 1.90 points to end at 157.70 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) shed 1.15% or 2.60 points to 223.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 446 to 289 and 96 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.59% or 0.41 to $69.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.61% or 0.45 to hit $73.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.50 to trade at $2,596.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.19% to 11.34, while USD/SEK rose 0.14% to 10.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 100.59.
