Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.35% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.22% or 0.15 points to trade at 7.05 at the close. Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) added 1.26% or 1.80 points to end at 144.75 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.64% or 0.27 points to 42.53 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb), which lost 2.98% or 7.0 points to trade at 226.5 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) declined 1.73% or 4.5 points to end at 253.1 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) shed 0.95% or 1.9 points to 198.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 385 to 241 and 50 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.07% or 2.09 to $70.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.92% or 1.43 to hit $75.98 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 6.00 to trade at $1262.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.11% to 10.3414, while USD/SEK rose 0.14% to 8.8583.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 94.18.
