Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 2.57% or 0.80 points to trade at 31.96 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 1.80% or 3.70 points to end at 209.20 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was up 1.79% or 0.11 points to 6.47 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which lost 5.42% or 13.60 points to trade at 237.60 in late trade. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 2.42% or 2.80 points to end at 110.90 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) shed 1.80% or 30.50 points to 1,667.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 447 to 308 and 95 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.76% or 0.59 to $78.18 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.34% or 0.28 to hit $81.99 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.38% or 57.50 to trade at $2,358.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.52% to 11.73, while USD/SEK rose 0.23% to 10.80.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 104.04.
