Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.48% or 2.50 points to trade at 103.50 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) added 1.38% or 1.00 points to end at 73.60 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.17% or 6.0 points to 520.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which lost 6.98% or 9.7 points to trade at 129.3 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) declined 3.13% or 2.08 points to end at 64.47 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) shed 2.27% or 3.50 points to 150.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 323 to 256 and 58 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.50% or 0.70 to $45.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.37% or 0.65 to hit $46.96 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1327.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.06% to 9.4729, while USD/SEK fell 0.51% to 8.5513.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 96.50.
