Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Telecoms and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 1.16% or 1.80 points to trade at 156.90 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 1.16% or 3.70 points to end at 323.80 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.56% or 1.60 points to 289.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 4.76% or 4.60 points to trade at 92.40 in late trade. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 3.48% or 0.24 points to end at 6.66 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) shed 1.71% or 1.30 points to 72.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 487 to 257 and 91 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.40% or 1.58 to $67.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.89% or 1.31 to hit $70.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.55 to trade at $2,543.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.07% to 11.44, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 10.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 101.69.
