Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 6.00% or 0.26 points to trade at 4.58 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 3.44% or 7.80 points to end at 234.70 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.41% or 1.10 points to 80.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 4.07% or 1.70 points to trade at 41.10 in late trade. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) declined 3.95% or 34.80 points to end at 847.00 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) shed 2.83% or 0.59 points to 20.27.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 496 to 270 and 65 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.06% or 0.79 to $73.46 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.08% or 0.83 to hit $76.22 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 20.79 to trade at $2,686.19 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.12% to 11.51, while USD/SEK rose 0.38% to 11.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 108.86.
