Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.07% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 2.31% or 1.10 points to trade at 50.00 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 1.52% or 2.80 points to end at 186.50 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was up 1.48% or 0.33 points to 22.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 2.58% or 2.30 points to trade at 86.20 in late trade. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 1.79% or 3.70 points to end at 202.80 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) shed 1.38% or 2.10 points to 149.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 462 to 305 and 74 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.40% or 0.27 to $68.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.45% or 0.32 to hit $72.21 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 17.40 to trade at $2,588.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.36% to 11.61, while USD/SEK rose 0.88% to 10.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 106.33.
