Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 15.65% or 4.48 points to trade at 33.10 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 2.88% or 2.80 points to end at 99.20 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was up 2.40% or 3.70 points to 155.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 3.03% or 1.40 points to trade at 45.10 in late trade. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 0.87% or 0.70 points to end at 73.70 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) shed 0.60% or 1.00 points to 156.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 417 to 340 and 95 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.20% or 0.81 to $68.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.82% or 0.58 to hit $71.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 5.80 to trade at $2,530.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.31% to 11.44, while USD/SEK rose 0.69% to 10.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 101.53.
