Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 6.37% or 4.80 points to trade at 79.90 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) added 6.17% or 2.90 points to end at 49.60 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 5.14% or 9.60 points to 196.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which lost 5.09% or 11.90 points to trade at 221.20 in late trade. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.48% or 4.80 points to end at 319.50 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) shed 1.06% or 1.25 points to 117.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 426 to 328 and 77 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.59% or 1.10 to $70.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.33% or 0.97 to hit $73.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 17.15 to trade at $2,591.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.08% to 11.33, while USD/SEK rose 0.22% to 10.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 100.61.
