Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 5.41% or 0.30 points to trade at 5.77 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 3.18% or 3.90 points to end at 125.00 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was up 2.55% or 7.10 points to 285.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which lost 2.07% or 26.40 points to trade at 1,252.00 in late trade. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 1.30% or 0.70 points to end at 51.60 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) shed 0.88% or 1.40 points to 156.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 33 to 23 and 1 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.09% or 1.55 to $75.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.94% or 1.52 to hit $79.93 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 17.65 to trade at $2,393.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.39% to 11.34, while USD/SEK rose 0.25% to 10.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 104.21.
