Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa), which rose 2.28% or 5.5 points to trade at 249.2 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 1.99% or 3.2 points to end at 166.8 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was up 1.92% or 4.2 points to 225.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which lost 2.30% or 2.40 points to trade at 102.15 in late trade. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 0.93% or 1.3 points to end at 138.7 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) shed 0.54% or 1.20 points to 219.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 358 to 252 and 56 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.51% or 0.36 to $70.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.91% or 0.68 to hit $75.13 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.10 to trade at $1242.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.33% to 10.3911, while USD/SEK rose 0.36% to 8.9056.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 94.58.
