Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Basic Materials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.58%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb), which rose 2.35% or 7.20 points to trade at 311.90 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 2.01% or 6.70 points to end at 340.00 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.89% or 1.50 points to 79.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which lost 1.59% or 0.52 points to trade at 32.16 in late trade. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 1.11% or 0.50 points to end at 48.00 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) shed 0.55% or 0.65 points to 117.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 496 to 258 and 79 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.79% or 0.60 to $75.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.68% or 0.54 to hit $78.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.43% or 37.80 to trade at $2,677.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.05% to 11.34, while USD/SEK fell 0.12% to 10.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 102.66.
