Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 4.00% or 11.5 points to trade at 298.9 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 3.14% or 1.59 points to end at 52.19 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was up 2.56% or 5.3 points to 212.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which lost 2.85% or 5.6 points to trade at 189.2 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 2.24% or 1.12 points to end at 48.87 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) shed 1.26% or 15.0 points to 1172.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 315 to 286 and 57 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.11% or 0.72 to $65.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.49% or 0.34 to hit $69.23 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.80 to trade at $1345.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.33% to 9.8098, while USD/SEK fell 0.35% to 7.8529.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 88.59.
