Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 3.81% or 1.70 points to trade at 46.30 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 1.63% or 4.00 points to end at 246.70 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was up 1.25% or 2.00 points to 157.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which lost 2.31% or 0.60 points to trade at 25.35 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.93% or 5.90 points to end at 299.10 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) shed 1.74% or 0.11 points to 6.11.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 385 to 368 and 80 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.19% or 1.75 to $78.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.96% or 1.61 to hit $80.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 5.35 to trade at $2,509.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.15% to 11.51, while USD/SEK fell 0.11% to 10.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 102.67.
