Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.47% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 11.33% or 102.5 points to trade at 1007.0 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 2.13% or 0.69 points to end at 33.11 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 1.96% or 4.1 points to 213.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 1.45% or 0.59 points to trade at 40.17 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 0.86% or 0.90 points to end at 104.30 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) shed 0.70% or 0.5 points to 64.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 410 to 304 and 84 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.66% or 0.82 to $50.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.89% or 0.49 to hit $55.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.90 to trade at $1329.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.5241, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 8.0121.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 92.28.
