Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 3.60% or 0.96 points to trade at 27.64 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 2.73% or 2.50 points to end at 95.70 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was up 1.28% or 0.94 points to 74.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 1.26% or 0.08 points to trade at 6.10 in late trade. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 0.62% or 11.00 points to end at 1,773.50 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) shed 0.51% or 0.40 points to 80.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 394 to 382 and 76 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.54% or 1.20 to $76.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.33% or 1.08 to hit $79.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.60% or 39.90 to trade at $2,532.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.15% to 11.54, while USD/SEK fell 0.40% to 10.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 102.53.
