Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which rose 1.66% or 26.50 points to trade at 1,622.50 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 1.18% or 2.50 points to end at 214.20 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 1.13% or 6.80 points to 609.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 3.09% or 0.22 points to trade at 7.00 in late trade. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) declined 2.59% or 25.20 points to end at 946.80 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) shed 2.42% or 2.75 points to 110.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 432 to 342 and 76 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.40% or 1.81 to $73.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.26% or 1.79 to hit $77.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 12.95 to trade at $2,663.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.35% to 11.37, while USD/SEK rose 0.62% to 10.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 103.02.
