Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which rose 3.30% or 2.67 points to trade at 83.52 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 2.77% or 20.6 points to end at 764.2 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.69% or 3.0 points to 180.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which lost 7.38% or 34.5 points to trade at 433.0 in late trade. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 2.81% or 6.1 points to end at 211.3 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) shed 1.99% or 2.67 points to 131.53.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 411 to 215 and 51 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.90% or 2.34 to $57.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.74% or 2.62 to hit $67.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1203.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.42% to 10.2203, while USD/SEK fell 1.01% to 9.0551.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 96.96.
