Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 1.45% or 1.20 points to trade at 80.50 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) added 1.29% or 1.40 points to end at 106.40 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was up 1.22% or 0.34 points to 28.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 2.29% or 0.17 points to trade at 7.33 in late trade. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) declined 1.75% or 17.20 points to end at 963.40 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) shed 1.03% or 2.20 points to 211.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 371 to 364 and 92 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.33% or 0.24 to $73.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.56% or 0.43 to hit $76.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.75 to trade at $2,633.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.35% to 11.38, while USD/SEK rose 0.64% to 10.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 102.59.
