Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Technology and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 3.14% or 5.20 points to trade at 170.60 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.72% or 2.00 points to end at 118.25 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 1.31% or 1.35 points to 104.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 2.04% or 0.14 points to trade at 6.96 in late trade. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 1.64% or 1.70 points to end at 99.20 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) shed 1.33% or 0.40 points to 29.71.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 451 to 321 and 72 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.43% or 0.97 to $68.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.24% or 0.89 to hit $72.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 2.00 to trade at $2,608.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.32% to 11.34, while USD/SEK fell 0.13% to 10.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 100.41.
