Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Technology and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 3.67% or 0.98 points to trade at 27.65 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 1.74% or 10.20 points to end at 596.40 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was up 1.63% or 7.60 points to 474.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which lost 1.94% or 3.00 points to trade at 152.00 in late trade. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) declined 1.82% or 5.20 points to end at 281.10 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) shed 0.94% or 1.10 points to 116.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 424 to 347 and 90 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.05% or 1.61 to $76.79 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.83% or 1.51 to hit $80.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 10.80 to trade at $2,405.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.12% to 11.69, while USD/SEK rose 0.45% to 10.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.18.
