Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 6.15% or 0.24 points to trade at 4.20 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.42% or 1.60 points to end at 114.20 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was up 1.39% or 0.28 points to 20.11 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb), which lost 1.15% or 1.10 points to trade at 91.00 in late trade. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) declined 1.10% or 2.70 points to end at 238.80 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) shed 1.05% or 6.40 points to 606.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 382 to 362 and 88 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.57% or 0.39 to $68.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.55% or 0.40 to hit $71.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 17.06 to trade at $2,663.36 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.16% to 11.54, while USD/SEK fell 0.65% to 10.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.95% at 105.96.
