- Chinese smart electric vehicle makers XPeng Inc (NYSE: XPEV) and Li Auto Inc (NASDAQ: LI) delivered 5,101 and 10,052 vehicles, respectively, in October 2022.
- XPeng’s deliveries consisted of 2,104 smart sports sedan, P7s, 1,665 smart family sedans, P5s and 709 G3i smart compact SUVs.
- As of October 31, 2022, year-to-date deliveries reached 103,654, representing a 56% increase year-over-year.
- October deliveries also included 623 G9 Flagship SUVs, XPeng’s fourth production model launched in September.
- "We are accelerating customer deliveries of G9. Logistics and transportation capabilities are all in place for a steady production ramp up beginning in November," said He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO.
- Li’s delivery represented a 31.4% increase year-on-year.
- The cumulative deliveries of Li Auto vehicles reached 221,067 as of the end of October.
- Price Action: XPEV shares traded higher by 6.50% at $7.05 and LI up by 9.91% at $14.97 in premarket on the last check Tuesday.
