Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Energy & Utilities and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which rose 3.67% or 0.60 points to trade at 16.95 at the close. Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) added 3.67% or 1.04 points to end at 29.40 and Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) was up 3.51% or 1.00 points to 29.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which lost 10.00% or 1.55 points to trade at 13.95 in late trade. Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) declined 9.89% or 2.24 points to end at 20.40 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) shed 4.11% or 0.70 points to 16.35.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 86 to 77 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.79% or 0.47 to $59.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $66.16 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.46% or 5.40 to trade at $1187.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.50% to 4.2050, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7499.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 94.91.
