Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Hotels & Tourism and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.03% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 8.14% or 0.93 points to trade at 12.36 at the close. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) added 4.28% or 1.01 points to end at 24.60 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was up 2.76% or 0.47 points to 17.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150), which lost 4.02% or 0.84 points to trade at 20.04 in late trade. Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) declined 3.95% or 0.88 points to end at 21.40 and Saudi Arabia Fertilizers Co. (SE:2020) shed 3.37% or 2.23 points to 64.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 152 to 28 and 3 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.42% or 2.09 to $59.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.38% or 2.19 to hit $62.62 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1318.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.12% to 4.5884, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7489.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 90.22.
