Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Media & Publishing and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Methanol Chemicals Company (TADAWUL:2001), which rose 7.77% or 1.30 points to trade at 18.04 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.41% or 0.02 points to end at 0.29 and Sustained Infrastructure Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2190) was up 6.13% or 1.85 points to 32.05 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:6013), which lost 4.90% or 7.00 points to trade at 136.00 in late trade. Almajed 4 Oud Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4165) declined 3.25% or 5.20 points to end at 154.80 and Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) shed 3.21% or 6.00 points to 181.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 209 to 76 and 31 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.01% or 0.71 to $70.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.89% or 0.66 to hit $74.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 12.30 to trade at $2,751.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.01% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 103.82.
