Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Insurance and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 4.49% or 1.10 points to trade at 25.60 at the close. Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) added 3.04% or 0.32 points to end at 10.86 and Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) was up 2.79% or 0.85 points to 31.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which lost 7.77% or 0.56 points to trade at 6.65 in late trade. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 6.00% or 5.20 points to end at 81.50 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) shed 5.22% or 0.56 points to 10.16.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 128 to 42 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.04% or 0.03 to $69.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.18% or 0.13 to hit $74.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 3.90 to trade at $1227.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.29% to 4.3867, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 94.18.
