Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 10.47% or 2.70 points to trade at 28.50 at the close. Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (SE:4320) added 4.54% or 1.00 points to end at 23.05 and Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) was up 3.42% or 3.50 points to 105.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which lost 3.01% or 0.40 points to trade at 12.90 in late trade. Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) declined 2.53% or 0.70 points to end at 27.00 and Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180) shed 1.95% or 0.25 points to 12.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 99 to 54 and 25 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.27% or 0.13 to $48.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.12% or 0.06 to hit $50.70 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.75% or 9.57 to trade at $1262.43 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.19% to 4.2070, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7497.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 97.13.
