Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Media & Publishing and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 9.02% or 1.78 points to trade at 21.52 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 7.44% or 1.79 points to end at 25.85 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) was up 5.51% or 0.88 points to 16.84 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150), which lost 3.53% or 0.66 points to trade at 18.04 in late trade. Saudi Telecom (SE:7010) declined 3.46% or 2.60 points to end at 72.60 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) shed 3.06% or 0.40 points to 12.68.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 88 to 70 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.32% or 0.65 to $49.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.89% or 0.49 to hit $55.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.58 to trade at $1326.42 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.01% to 4.4569, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 92.41.
