Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Agriculture & Food and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which rose 6.60% or 0.71 points to trade at 11.46 at the close. Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) added 4.36% or 0.83 points to end at 19.86 and Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) was up 4.26% or 1.03 points to 25.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280), which lost 5.53% or 1.78 points to trade at 30.40 in late trade. Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004) declined 3.87% or 3.83 points to end at 95.10 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) shed 3.71% or 1.57 points to 40.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 81 and 4 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.47% or 0.34 to $71.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.69% or 0.55 to hit $79.02 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.30 to trade at $1288.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.68% to 4.3872, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 93.97.
