Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Agriculture & Food and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304), which rose 9.93% or 1.46 points to trade at 16.16 at the close. Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) added 5.23% or 0.51 points to end at 10.26 and National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080) was up 3.37% or 1.00 points to 30.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included National Medical Care Company (SE:4005), which lost 3.29% or 1.60 points to trade at 47.00 in late trade. Almarai Company (SE:2280) declined 2.00% or 1.10 points to end at 53.80 and Yanbu Cement Co. (SE:3060) shed 1.90% or 0.55 points to 28.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 72 and 26 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.35% or 0.20 to $56.79 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.17% or 0.11 to hit $65.78 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1288.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.2492, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 96.697.
