Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Transport and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.84% or 9.50 points to trade at 106.00 at the close. Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) added 3.95% or 0.44 points to end at 11.58 and Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) was up 3.89% or 1.10 points to 29.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which lost 6.29% or 1.95 points to trade at 29.05 in late trade. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 3.58% or 0.76 points to end at 20.48 and Saudi Ground Services Co (SE:4031) shed 3.19% or 1.20 points to 36.45.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 78 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.40% or 0.27 to $67.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.62% or 0.45 to hit $72.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 12.40 to trade at $1215.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.42% to 4.3486, while USD/SAR fell 0.04% to 3.7492.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 95.29.
