Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 2.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Qassim Cement Co (SE:3040), which rose 9.90% or 4.00 points to trade at 44.40 at the close. Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) added 9.58% or 2.40 points to end at 27.45 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was up 9.46% or 3.65 points to 42.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120), which lost 3.55% or 0.44 points to trade at 11.94 in late trade. Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) declined 3.54% or 2.40 points to end at 65.40 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) shed 3.11% or 2.10 points to 65.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 107 to 69 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.48% or 0.28 to $58.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.48% or 0.33 to hit $68.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 7.35 to trade at $1276.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.06% to 4.1957, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 97.678.
