Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Financial Services and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.76%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.91% or 1.58 points to trade at 17.52 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 9.88% or 5.80 points to end at 64.50 and SABB Takaful (SE:8080) was up 7.94% or 1.76 points to 23.92 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which lost 4.27% or 0.64 points to trade at 14.34 in late trade. Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) declined 1.72% or 0.15 points to end at 8.55 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) shed 1.48% or 0.24 points to 16.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 150 to 27 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 5.66% or 3.71 to $69.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $75.32 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1271.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.43% to 4.3707, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7492.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 94.19.
