Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Industrial Investment and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 7.82% or 3.36 points to trade at 46.30 at the close. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) added 5.70% or 0.36 points to end at 6.68 and United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) was up 4.97% or 1.18 points to 24.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280), which lost 2.92% or 0.73 points to trade at 24.30 in late trade. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) declined 2.65% or 0.78 points to end at 28.70 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) shed 1.79% or 0.85 points to 46.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 144 to 31 and 3 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.83% or 0.94 to $50.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.39% or 0.79 to hit $56.15 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.93 to trade at $1295.83 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.4436, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 92.94.
