Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financial Services, Insurance and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab National Bank (SE:1080), which rose 7.03% or 1.71 points to trade at 26.05 at the close. National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291) added 5.26% or 1.10 points to end at 22.00 and Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) was up 4.74% or 1.04 points to 23.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200), which lost 1.90% or 1.00 points to trade at 51.60 in late trade. Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) declined 1.62% or 0.80 points to end at 48.60 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) shed 1.10% or 0.12 points to 10.74.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 127 to 38 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $59.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.11% or 0.07 to hit $65.62 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 6.15 to trade at $1409.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.2642, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 95.752.
