Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080), which rose 8.22% or 1.97 points to trade at 25.95 at the close. Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) added 7.08% or 1.70 points to end at 25.70 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) was up 5.68% or 2.35 points to 43.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160), which lost 2.37% or 0.18 points to trade at 7.43 in late trade. Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) declined 1.92% or 0.50 points to end at 25.55 and Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) shed 1.66% or 0.80 points to 47.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 129 to 42 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.14% or 0.62 to $53.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.91% or 0.57 to hit $61.94 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.75 to trade at $1317.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.2835, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 95.678.
