Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Petrochemicals and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.11% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which rose 6.01% or 1.18 points to trade at 20.80 at the close. Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) added 5.15% or 0.43 points to end at 8.78 and Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) was up 4.77% or 1.75 points to 38.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which lost 2.09% or 0.50 points to trade at 23.40 in late trade. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) declined 1.77% or 0.34 points to end at 18.88 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) shed 1.75% or 0.36 points to 20.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 118 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.45% or 1.22 to $51.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.09% or 1.23 to hit $59.95 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.25 to trade at $1283.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.2968, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 95.412.
