Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Retail and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.01% to hit a new 3-year high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230), which rose 4.38% or 0.68 points to trade at 16.20 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 3.63% or 0.48 points to end at 13.70 and Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) was up 3.53% or 0.23 points to 6.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alinma Bank (SE:1150), which lost 2.88% or 0.72 points to trade at 24.26 in late trade. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) declined 2.32% or 1.05 points to end at 44.15 and Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) shed 2.32% or 1.05 points to 44.15.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 128 to 46 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $59.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $67.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.35 to trade at $1321.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.01% to 4.2235, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 96.338.
