Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.93% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 5.95% or 2.45 points to trade at 43.60 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) added 5.70% or 1.31 points to end at 24.30 and Savola Group (SE:2050) was up 5.06% or 1.50 points to 31.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which lost 5.26% or 0.80 points to trade at 14.42 in late trade. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 3.25% or 0.74 points to end at 22.02 and Food Products Co. (SE:2100) shed 2.78% or 0.46 points to 16.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 101 to 74 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.60% or 0.81 to $51.32 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.63% or 0.96 to hit $59.95 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.45 to trade at $1289.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.43% to 4.2853, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 95.525.
