Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Hotels & Tourism and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.90%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 9.97% or 3.70 points to trade at 40.80 at the close. AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:2320) added 9.94% or 3.60 points to end at 39.80 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) was up 9.90% or 0.79 points to 8.77 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Baazeem Trading Co (TADAWUL:4051), which lost 9.05% or 0.65 points to trade at 6.53 in late trade. Wafrah for Industry and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2100) declined 6.45% or 2.75 points to end at 39.90 and Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200) shed 4.38% or 7.20 points to 157.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 191 to 100 and 25 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.04% or 0.79 to $76.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.39% or 0.31 to hit $79.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 7.30 to trade at $2,470.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.05% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 102.97.
