Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Energy & Utilities and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.88% to hit a new 3-year high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320), which rose 10.00% or 2.08 points to trade at 22.88 at the close. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) added 9.92% or 0.60 points to end at 6.65 and The Saudi Investment Bank (SE:1030) was up 8.70% or 1.68 points to 21.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which lost 3.01% or 0.68 points to trade at 21.94 in late trade. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) declined 2.09% or 1.80 points to end at 84.50 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) shed 2.00% or 1.10 points to 53.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 114 to 62 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.75% or 0.40 to $53.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $61.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.77% or 22.60 to trade at $1302.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.2812, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.86% at 95.470.
