Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Agriculture & Food and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.81%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 7.11% or 1.59 points to trade at 23.94 at the close. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 6.75% or 2.05 points to end at 32.40 and Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) was up 6.44% or 1.54 points to 25.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180), which lost 1.51% or 0.19 points to trade at 12.40 in late trade. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) declined 0.98% or 1.20 points to end at 120.80 and Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) shed 0.97% or 0.34 points to 34.65.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 159 to 15 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.64% or 0.95 to $58.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $63.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.16 to trade at $1288.04 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.67% to 4.4743, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7499.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 92.72.
