Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Transport, Agriculture & Food and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.65%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:8313), which rose 6.90% or 3.70 points to trade at 57.30 at the close. Nayifat Finance Co (TADAWUL:4081) added 5.66% or 0.82 points to end at 15.32 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240) was up 5.43% or 1.34 points to 26.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which lost 5.26% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.18 in late trade. Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050) declined 3.68% or 0.88 points to end at 23.06 and Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals Factory Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4015) shed 3.58% or 6.80 points to 183.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 197 to 97 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.11% or 0.75 to $68.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.99% or 0.70 to hit $71.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 20.70 to trade at $2,563.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.11% to 4.14, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 101.59.
