Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Hotels & Tourism and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 9.84% or 2.37 points to trade at 26.45 at the close. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 6.65% or 1.84 points to end at 29.50 and Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) was up 6.24% or 1.34 points to 22.82 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which lost 3.07% or 0.41 points to trade at 12.94 in late trade. Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) declined 2.24% or 0.51 points to end at 22.28 and City Cement Co (SE:3003) shed 1.86% or 0.18 points to 9.52.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 119 to 48 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.62% or 0.32 to $51.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.00% or 0.57 to hit $57.74 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.70 to trade at $1306.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.4305, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 92.98.
